Our Garage Door Tune-up Service is a complete maintenance check of your entire garage door system.
A garage door tune-up includes a full inspection of the spring(s), cables, rollers, hinges, and tracks. All moving parts are then lubricated with the correct lubricant for that part. We also perform a balance test to ensure the door is opening and closing evenly. We then check the force of the opener to ensure it is within the correct limits to activate the safety reversal feature. We also check and align the safety sensors and tighten all hardware, including bolts, brackets, and fasteners. We also check the weatherstripping and door seals. You will receive a written report of our findings and any recommended repairs.
We recommend for residential homes a yearly garage door tune-up. Garage doors used daily in homes with multiple garages could benefit from a twice yearly maintenance.

Our standard scheduled garage door tune-up is $69 to $149 per single garage door. Multi-car garage doors (2 car and 3 car garages) receive a discounted rate. The service call fee is discounted and applies to any garage door repair work done during the same service call.
